Membership in bayern photonics e.V.

Bayern photonics e.V. is a cluster initiative comprising companies and research institutions from Bavaria that collaborate on the development and application of photonics and quantum technologies. The association was founded on August 17, 2000, at the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as a regional competence network for optical technologies by seven companies and research institutions. Since then, the number of members has increased more than tenfold and has now grown to around 80 members from industry, SMEs, startups, research, and consulting institutions in Bavaria and beyond. Bayern photonics e.V. is a member of OptecNet Germany e.V. This nationwide association of innovation networks for optical technologies, in which around 600 companies and research institutions are involved, ensures cross-regional, content-based networking.

Cooperation with toolcraft AG

Toolcraft is a pioneer of forward-looking technologies, such as additive manufacturing and the construction of customised turnkey robotics solutions.
